BAG Disseny STUDIO was founded in 2002 by Xavier Mora and Sandra Compte, working across Barcelona, Andorra and Girona.
Our practice is built around turning ideas into distinctive and meaningful projects — whether that means shaping a product, designing a space, or defining a brand.

We are drawn to challenges. Each commission, no matter its scale or nature, is approached with openness, energy and precision, combining creative vision with technical rigour to deliver work that resonates and endures.

How

At BAG Disseny, we believe that projects should endure over time and stay connected to the values of their immediate environment. Our approach combines conceptual depth with historical and socio-cultural research, experimentation with noble and lasting materials, and a meticulous attention to detail. We explore new typologies, invite the involvement of the user, and search for poetic gestures — often accompanied by a subtle sense of humour.

This vision finds its most essential expression in Living Things, our editor of objects, where we give form to the purest version of our design philosophy. Here, the principles that guide our process become tangible: doing one thing at a time, doing it slowly, doing it completely, putting space between things, thinking about what is necessary, and ultimately living simply.

Through this balance of rigour and simplicity, our projects aspire to create meaningful and timeless designs, rooted in their context and celebrating the beauty of permanence.

At BAG Disseny STUDIO, we seek to create new codes and explore fresh visual languages that connect with people in meaningful ways. Creativity and innovation are part of our nature, but we express them through solutions that remain simple, direct and essential.

Our true tools are not just objects, but the ideas, concepts, shapes, senses, light, materials, words, colours and volumesthat allow us to give life to each project. With them we aim not only to respond to a need, but to elevate it into an experience — and to enjoy the process as much as the outcome.
